The first one knew him, and recused herself.

The second one did not know him, described the situation as I described in my previous post, and did not bring charges. He later recused himself because his son works in the previously recused DA's office, and arbery's mother claims there is kinship between the parties involved (which there isn't), and made unfounded allegations of bias.

That is a problem on your and many others minds. For the better part of 5 decades Blacks have been murdering whites and violently attacking whites in outrageous percentages. The narrative that the white guys were out to lynch Arbery is absurd. And as long as that narrative persists so will the one sided interracial violence.

I don't disagree that the narrative of a "lynching" is not at all supported by the facts or that presenting this as 3 rednecks hunt down black jogger is anything less than race baiting. The facts of the case are still troubling.

I would not arm myself and chase after that dude at all, never. And I agree with the rest of your post. I am very non confrontational.

They can arrest 50 people for the “murder” of Ahmad the thug... no one will be convicted of murder.

Hey Patriot.
Of the nearly 750 black vs white/white vs black interracial homicides, blacks (13% of pop) killed 500 whites and whites (60+% of pop.) killed 250 blacks.

That trial has started. It looks very bad for the defendants, imho.

Bodycam video evidence, by the officers on the scene.

Glad you drug this back up. It was fishy when it went down and this trial is not painting a prettier picture of what happened. Chasing someone down for property crime and killing them in the street is a crime, but I think this trial is going to show there was a history of animosity between parties.

They didn't chase them down and kill them.
Its idiots like you who distort things.
They thought he was a criminal after a period of property crime in the neighborhood. Played vigilante and followed him instead of letting the police do their job. Pulled a gun on him when he wouldn't stop and when he charged them and tried to grab the gun, that is when the one man killed him. And it does sound like its considered murder based on Georgia law, but you are distorting what happened.

WTF are you talking about? Pulling a gun on him when he wouldn't stop is the definition of chasing him down. After he was cornered by people aiming guns at him he charged which I'm damn sure anyone who didn't have a gun themselves would do. Arbery was never convicted of a crime, and the defense may try to provide evidence he was committing a crime. But I don't know of a law that allows you to kill someone to protect someone elses property.

We can agree there are shitbags in this world and Arbery might have been one of them. But chasing him down, and that is exactly what they did, and shooting him after he turned on them is murder.

Lol, seriously? If someone has a gun pointed at me I'm doing exactly what they tell me to. 100% of rational persons would do the same. Be that as it may, I didn't like it when it happened. You can't play deputy dawg. They put themselves in this situation and I don't see them getting out.

The defense attorney asking for no more black pastors to be allowed on the courthouse grounds is one I've never seen

Really. You do what they say even if you don't like it. And yeah, they pulled the gun so they started the confrontation and it doesn't look like they can avoid a murder conviction.

I'll say that I think the difference between the two situations is glaringly obvious. Kyle should never have been charge whereas these guys should have been.
