My theory is that the jogger had a rep of jogging through this neighborhood, which he didn't live in, and things were disappearing. These "concerned neighborhood crime watchers" decided to let the guy know he was being watched. He did not want to be punked, so he decided to confront two armed men, he died and they'll go to jail because all three mad bad decisions.

My theory is he was a theif looking for copper in a neighborhood that has been robbed. Two idiots saw him running away, ran him down, pulled a shotgun, dude tried to take it and is dead

Arbery was helping an old lady across the street when 2 men in KKK attire chased him down and shot him in the back.

Pretty much the MSM narrative.

How blatantly evil they are.

RE: Ahmaud Arbery, 25, Killed while Burglarizing in Georgia
Quote:Democratic Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms drew a straight line Sunday from the White House to the Ahmaud Arbery shooting in her state.

Bottoms appeared on CNN’s “State of the Union” to discuss Republican Gov. Brian Kemp’s plan to reopen her state, and anchor Jake Tapper mentioned the recent charges that were filed in Arbery’s case.

“The shooting happened back on February 23,” Tapper began, noting that murder charges against the shooters were not filed until a video of the shooting went viral. “Do you think that the two men were only charged because the video became public?”

“I think that’s absolutely the reason that they were charged. I think had we not seen that video, I don’t believe that they would be charged,” Bottoms responded. “And it’s heartbreaking that it’s 2020 and this was a lynching of an African-American man. And I think that, you know, my heart goes out to his family.”

Bottoms then pivoted to President Donald Trump, suggesting that racists were being empowered by the president.

“I think, again, it’s a part of this bigger issue that we are having in this country. With the rhetoric we hear coming out of the White House in so many ways, I think that many who are prone to being racist are given permission to do it in an overt way that we otherwise would not see in 2020, because you have to remember, Jake, you know, in cities across this country, even if local leadership fails, there was always the backstop of our Justice Department to step in and make sure people are appropriately prosecuted. But we don’t have that leadership at the top right now. It’s disheartening.”

Bottoms went on to say that her own four children were afraid because of that overt racism. “They are angry. And they are afraid. I think it speaks to the need to have leadership at the top that cares for all of our communities and not just in words but in deeds as well,” she concluded.

I mean this is the mayor of Atlanta playing politics and speaking to her base. Typical political bs.

Our hero entering a residence and on his “jog”

You are missing the point. It doesn't matter if he had murdered someone prior to his confrontation with McMichaels, they stated in the police report that he looked like someone they had seen on surveillance footage previously breaking into homes and he was running. They had not witnessed him committing a crime, much less a felony that is required under GA's citizen arrest law.

These two knuckleheads wanted to hand out some vigilante justice and that is not acceptable.

Why is it so hard for people to acknowledge that Arbery was probably not a model citizen if not a criminal, but that doesn't make it ok for two morons to chase him down the road and stop him with weapons.

It disgusts me that the MSM had to make this a racial issue because all it does it stir up people to immediately defend two people that under neutral circumstances they would otherwise condemn. No reasonable person seeing someone they think may have committed crimes previously grabs their guns and takes after them in a vehicle to "talk to them"

I agree. These two idiots give thoughtful, responsible gun owners a bad rap and ammunition for the anti gun loons.

I’ve innocently popped in to check out a house under construction many times without the thought of being shot and killed, but I suppose that’s the luxury of being white. It’s too why we have police to investigate and not hang mobs.

The two trigger happy idiots are best locked up and removed from society.

Funny how jogger has now been debunked and we are now at hey we all trespass on other people's property. Everyone knows he was looking for stuff to steal. Do you think he was looking for construction ideas for his new house he was building? LOL. It is going to be not guilty let the riots commence!

You can't kill someone because you think they stole something.

He popped into two houses. It appears he had a hammer. It appears he had been burglarizing the neighborhood for weeks and weeks.

Stop injecting race into this.

Are there police reports outlining weeks and weeks of burglaries. The only one I’ve seen on record is for a gun that was lifted from a car.

The bottom line is if you introduce deadly force the you had damn well better be prepared to live with the consequences. These men’s lives we not threatened until they decided to load up the truck and foolishly take matters into their own hands. Now, their lives are ruined and this 25yo guy is dead for, at worst, a hammer. Stupid decisions with deadly results.

Not a popular position, especially for an avid shooting enthusiast and almost rabid 2A supporter but for once you and I agree.

I agree as well. These two are going to jail. The jury can decide for which charge, but there is no way you do this and just walk away from it.

You can't kill someone because you think they stole something.

You can get killed trying to take a gun from someone.

It baffles me to how anyone that watched that video cant understand this man is not dead because those two idiots thought he was breaking into homes.

It might have been the thing that put them on a collision path. But this man would still be alive today and free to jog throughout that neighborhood, to look into other homes. If he didnt make the decision to attack a man, then to try and grab his gun from him while striking him.

If these people wanted to shoot and kill him for looking into homes or casing them out. They would have did it earlier. From what I read and seen they asked the man to stop and talk to them. He had the right to say no and I guess he did just that.

I would bet there is not a law in the state of Ga that says you can not follow someone you believe just committed a crime. I bet by law they could have drove right beside the man or behind him all the way across town even if they didnt think he did anything. Streets are public and carrying the guns was lawful. I havent read or seen one thing that shows or says they threaten this man...

asking someone to talk is not a threat. He clearly wasnt detained or he wouldnt have been jogging. This thing got out of hand when he decided to attack a man who had a gun. When this gets to a jury if they do their sworn duty. They will say self defense

I want to ask TigerBlue4Ever two thing. What would you have done as someone that carries a gun if a person bull rushes you. Hitting you with their fist and had their hands around the barrel of your gun trying to take it away from you? Would you believe your life was in danger if the attacker took the gun from you?

Thinking someone broke into a home and might have stolen something was 10 to 15 minutes before the shot that killed this man. If anyone got that from the video. They watched a different one than I did.

This isnt about responsible gun owner ship. It's not about making any other gun owner look bad. This has nothing to do with any other person than the attacker and the shooter. If any person who owns and carries a gun looks at the video and says they wouldnt be in fear of their life if this person took control of that gun.

Then those people are carrying their guns to make themselves feel better. Not for self protection.

Yeah. I doubt her privileged children feel that way any more than Obama's two.
