But I’m honestly curious what sort of public explanation is used by the bureaucracy at an institution like the University of Maryland. I don’t expect their explanation to be truthful or candid — rather the opposite — but I’m just wondering how they talk around this.

Well does that mean if you are married to an Asian, you are a double racist? And if your children are half Asian/white, does that mean you multiply the race card by 4 (2 kids x Asian x White=multiply by 4)?
