I like the division set up, myself. You know who, when and where your team will be playing. As mentioned in the article, travel plans and practices can be planned ahead of time. Play h&h within the division and against the other divisional teams once.

which team are the closest to UAB
wk, Southern miss , MTS , la tech, charlotte ???

we may end up with a florida team or 2 and ditch la tech and even southern miss

it will be difficult to choose 5 close team for the non texas teams and very difficult for the florida team

From my location, Morris, AL, the closest school is MTSU at 177 miles followed by WKU at 239 miles, USM at 250 miles, LaTech at 402 miles and Charlotte at 412 miles.

Like mentioned several times, there is no advantage to having pod play. Especially when you won't even go to games against teams at the top of the league.

The Western Kentucky game would have been an ideal one to attend last season.

yep but it will be very difficults to make the schedule for the non texas teams especially florida teams ,,,
UAB will end up with 2 florida teams
