The deal is fine but not the hype.

It's not fair to wave a fake lantern of hope in the long, dark tunnel that is the life of a UTRGV fan. We'll never give up but don't jack with us like that.

I think the announcement was overplayed by saying a "New Beginning" just giving a date (5/11/20). The interpretation was too broad. They should simply said UTRGV has "A New Look" and a date. At least everyone knows the premise of the announcement.

Why tease something if in the tease, you basically give away the premise? And switching apparel companies is a big deal. New Beginning definitely fits.

I hadn't seen the "new beginning" promo until after the cat was out of the bag. But the first line is "protect this house", which just so happens to be Under Armour's catchphrase. So they did provide the premise.

Well Under Armour is a majority of what I wear so I don't mind. Never have liked Adidas in anything.
