Mark Byington Virtual Town Hall
I hope everyone here is healthy and safe, and navigating all of these changes as well as can be expected.

The Town of Bridgewater is hosting a virtual town hall with Mark Byington on Wednesday, May 13 at 7:00 pm. Join us for a chance to hear Byington talk about his new role at JMU and to ask him questions! This virtual town hall is a free Zoom event. I think there is a maximum of 100 participants. Just click this link to join: https://zoom.us/j/97296572792

More info: https://www.facebook.com/events/575788306401610/

And if you are interested, Ralph Sampson tonight at 7:00. Follow this Zoom link to join the Virtual Town Hall with this living legend: http://zoom.us/j/98684854813

Take care, everyone!

Only caught the tail end, but heard him stress how important it will be to teach the team how to better play defense and fans should notice an improvement. Also said that would not run & gun for the sake of doing so, but will look to take advantage if opportunity is there. About 25 or so in the Zoom group

Also joined near the end. During Q and A, he said he didn't feel the shutdown was hurting recruiting, but he was concerned about not being able to spend time with the team, particularly the returning guys. Also talked a bit about going up against McClinton back when he played.

Wish I had heard the whole session, he seems like a straight shooter with no BS ready to get to work and make things happen here. Wants to revitalize/restart the electric zoo environment he experienced playing as an opponent.

Think I recall seeing a red recording icon during the session, but I wouldn’t know how to go about getting it. Likely the person who started the session would need to send out a link.

Nothing flashy, looks and sounds like a blue collar type. I hope he cain keep that positive appearance, this is not going to be a walk in the park situation. I like him. I wish we could've followed Matt with Mark, the hole wouldn't be so deep.

Amen BP. I have to think all new facilities are making a big difference this time.
