Hammock taking a paycut
Hammock and Frazier are taking a paycut to keep the program afloat and to keep the staff together. Hammock must really believe in his staff: https://twitter.com/thefwaa/status/12569...53185?s=21

RE: Hammock taking a paycut
So are others. From Frazier's corner on official website ...

" ...both football head coach Thomas Hammock and I will be reducing our salaries by 10 percent for the academic year 2020-21. This cut will go into effect on July 1st which is the start of the university's fiscal year."

"In addition, basketball head coaches Mark Montgomery and Lisa Carlsen have agreed to a percentage reduction in their annual salaries as well. With the university making cuts in several areas across the board, all of our head coaches - as well as many members of our staff – will see salary reductions of one kind or another."

The complete report ...

RE: Hammock taking a paycut
I spoke to someone who works on staff for a larger university in the Chicago area, they all get at least a 10% haircut, tough if your raising a family and ain't getting Football HC money.

Rougher still is that school (I don't want to say, sorry) is projecting fall '20 dorm revenues to be cut by more than 50% than fall '19. Like all others, the move online is swift, and no one is confident on what that means for the end results, although it's certainly so much cheaper.

RE: Hammock taking a paycut
It's not the head coaches who that would impact but the assistants. Especially at the MAC level.
