Apparently there was some question whether he would “test the waters” of the draft.

My guess would be the G-League. I don't see a transfer as he would have to sit out a year

Is there anything to prevent the G League from recruiting/signing active college players away from their schools? If not, there need to be some rules in place or they could conceivably sign as many high level players as they want. And no college kid is going to turn down money to keep playing, especially one coming off injury.

Rules?

Whose Rules...NCAA has no rights to limit a persons ability to earn a living somewhere else.

But without additional info I am going to treat this rumor like it deserves to be treated...IGNORED.

Why is them "signing as many high-level players as they want" a problem exactly?

They are a private sports league...

I don't believe he wouldn't be able to just sign with the g-league ... He's got to go through the draft ... Then (if not drafted) sign a free agent deal with a particular NBA team and play for their g-league franchise. Or go international.

I don't see why he wouldn't be able to sign with the G-League without going through the draft.

May be true but I just don't see the logic there. He just would not be eligible to be called up.

Nothing to see here. He's not leaving.

People are jumping to conclusions over a teenager doing a Snapchat.

John Martin also weighed in on it today and said there's nothing to worry about.
