Who's Resuming On-Campus Classes in the Fall?
Universities are starting to plan for bringing classes back next fall. If you update where your leadership is leaning we can better understand how our athletics might be effected.

RE: Who's Resuming On-Campus Classes in the Fall?
North Texas is planning on returning to normal on campus classes in the fall.

"Our leadership teams have been working hard to help us begin the transition from remote learning back to more normal campus operations. Today, I want to inform you that we plan to begin limited in-person teaching as early as Summer II and are planning on safely resuming campus learning and residential life for Fall 2020."

Im curious. What if there is a state or school that doesnt go back, but the rest of us do. Do we play without them? Is it all or nothing?

USM is planning on having Fall classes on campus. Of course this is contingent on obvious things.

RE: Who's Resuming On-Campus Classes in the Fall?
El Presidente Sidney McPhee announced today that the MT campus will be Open for the Fall.. But, he was a bit vague about the specifics regarding whether those classes will have butts in seats, be on-line or some of both. Guess time will tell.

My daughter goes to ECU and it looks like they are planning to start back up in the fall.
I would imagine this has already been discussed and the rest of the state schools will make their announcements soon.

Gonna be some low butt-in-seat numbers, I’d guess.

UAB and it's sister campuses were the first to announce a return to in-person campus instruction in the fall...starting on time. CNN "loved" it so much we made the front page.

UAB is also on record that barring any drastic circumstances it intends to play a full 12 game schedule this fall and will do what's best for the University regardless of what others decide.

It should be of note that the University at the fore front of this virus fight, is the one to make the first announcements, regrading a return to "normalcy".

It'd probably be in your schools best interest to not come to Norfolk and get your ass beat this November but you do what you think is best.

Not really confident in this prediction but figured talking smack on a sports message board was a good first step in our return to normalcy

RE: Who's Resuming On-Campus Classes in the Fall?
Remember all these schools struggling and going out of business have all been paid tuition at least through May. If they start in the fall, they are only out tuition for summer classes and any deficit in numbers not returning for fall. Obviously state and federal monies will be tight. But I don't understand that they permanently closed in April with no losses at that point except from athletics. Was that just an excuse to do what they had been planning for a while?
