Possible 3 conference scheduling alliance
Jim Penders of UConn has called Glavine and several other Northeast CBB coaches about forming a conference schedule alliance between the Big East, CAA and A-10.

Basically keep a 56-game regular season schedule involving NU, UConn, URI, UMass, Hofstra, St. John’s, Seton Hall, Fordham among others. Making it a bus league for one year instead of a flight league like currently constructed.

And the Southern CAA teams would face their regional rivals. But all 3 conferences would still hold league tournaments based on RPI.

I’m definitely for this to save money and possibly programs.
