Well we need the media to grow up and act responsibly. The latest scare tactic is that we are going to have food shortages. They're running LOTS of those stories. There are some issues. But with the 2 biggest pork plants shut down (only temporarily), that is still only 10% of the supply. There are some logistical challenges with finding enough truck drivers. The real issue will be figured out, how the food companies transition from supplying restaurants to supplying groceries. You already are seeing a lot of commercial packages in grocery stores.

Don't click.
To a point it was true but not anymore. At first I couldn't find a lot of meat stuffs that we use. Even bologna was scarce, don't ask me about ham. Today, they had the kind of ham we love and more. Sure, there were some brands that still weren't stocked, (I don't know because it hadn't been stock or didn't have) but there were other brands. It may come to the point that as spoiled as we are to only using certain brands we may have to experiment with other brands.
Hey folks, we're living in the US not Venezuela, Cuba or the old USSR. Capitalism is what keeps us going. Money drives the machine and entrepreneurs will give us what we need because it keeps them fed and clothed.
The advantage of living in Alaska.

We just have to wait until the middle of May for the hooligan and then the salmon to start running...

Bologna is the finest of the lunch meats. Frying it only makes it better. The absolute worst would be liver cheese. A guy at work eats that quite often. Nasty nasty nasty.
