Notre Dame just caught up to USC this year. At least this is one list that the SEC does not dominate.

FWIW, Pro Football Reference has a nice chart with other stats related to colleges, like number of players who have made NFL rosters, games player by college alumni, touchdowns scored, hall of famers:

Notre Dame is #1 and USC is #2 on the first two, and they are tied for #1 with Hall of Famers. ND is #1 in touchdowns scored. USC is #1 in most pro bowl players.

Youngsters who just know that Notre Dame hasn't won a title in 30 years have no idea about how historically dominant they were.

The LA Times referenced drafthistory.com, a good site for NFL draft picks. I have no idea why the difference?
