Because then they would be admitting out loud that dear leader is flawed and that he bumbled (AGAIN). The coverup is always worse than the crime. Stockholmy.
Thank you BOTH for perfectly (if unintentionally) demonstrating my point.
If what you said above were what the left was saying, you'd have lots of people... certainly me agreeing with you.
But that's not what the left said he said... and most of us you claim are 'defending' him are merely pointing out that absolute fact. You are actually CREATING the reaction that wouldn't exist without the lies... so you and the leadership of the Democratic party, including the candidate running against Trump are lying about Trump in an effort to convince me that Trump is a liar.
HOW does that come across to you as a winning strategy?

These types of people treat Trump like a cult leader, and he really needs to shut the hell up adding things that all of us know that are harmful to us. My mom caught me when I was a baby drinking bleach, and she had to take me to the hospital to have charcoal mixture into me to puke it out. As a baby, I somehow get around barricades and climb up on things to get to stuff that was supposed to be out of my reach.
As for Trump needs to do? Be careful what he say because there are some people are treating him as a cult leader and follow what he said.
Serious question, David.... How do you know these people didn't instead hear a democrat/liberal reporter CLAIM that Trump said this when he so obviously didn't? You're blaming Trump, but why wouldn't it much more likely be what they heard/read from the press? I didn't hear the initial comments... I came on here and heard your interpretations of what he said... but because I'm not stupid, I didn't just accept the interpretation. When I heard what he actually said, it doesn't remotely sound like what you guys claimed he said.

This basically will let a logical individual know of his initial intent and or meaning when it came out of his mouth. Now he's just lying per the usual syllable to save face. Any person who doesn't understand this is an absolute moron. No left or right bs. Just a complete idiot if they're backing Trump on this crap.
Wow Wade... did you hurt yourself typing this?
I agree, his statement that it was sarcasm doesn't 'jibe' with what I heard him say... but I'm having to take your word for it (which is a massive stretch because you guys have routinely lied about this as well) that what he's referring to is the specific conversation you're talking about.
Trump absolutely has a problem with accepting criticism and this is how people like that respond... but it also has nothing to do with why anyone might vote for him or not. You certainly don't support his views on the economy etc etc, but you just can't vote for him because of his inability to accept criticism. I've seen Biden try and pick fights with people who challenge him, so again, choose your poison.
On one hand, I have a candidate who didn't say what the left says he said... so WHAT he said doesn't matter.... and instead of admit that he could have said it better, he calls it sarcasm which isn't the right word. (again, giving you a huge benefit of doubt)
On the other hand, I have a candidate/party who openly and obviously lied about what Trump said in an effort to trick voters... without their lie, Trump's sarcasm comment never happens.
Do you think Trump's comment about disinfectant was intended to trick voters? If not (and I can't imagine how you could say 'yes') then again, how do you see this as a winning strategy?
Trump's a jerk... he's a womanizer... he can't accept criticism etc etc etc... and so is your candidate.
