We Toured the CINCINNATI BEARCATS' BASKETBALL Facility | Royal Key
Kinda surprised I hadn't heard anything about this especially since it has over 50K views and just came out about a month ago apparently. Basically a lot of stuff on the UA basketball apparel the players get and a quick look at the basketball facilities. Looks like it's part of series focused on some of the biggest basketball programs in the country (Duke, UK, UNC, Texas, etc.) from what I can tell.

Good post. I hadn't seen it before and I check this board almost every day. Thanks.

Why has the basketball team gone to this orange looking color they are now calling "Bearcat Red"? It is ugly.

Go to the 8:50 mark of the video for a good contrast comparison. You can see the new Bearcat Red on the floor of the locker room as compared to the classic red that is on the walls.

I don't think Bearcat Red has changed during the UnderArmour years. I say that because I own several UA polos including this past season's coaches' polo and they are all identical in color. They have produced an alternate for some clothing items--I'd call it a red heather that looks more pink to me. I really don't care much for that.

Adidas had gone to a slightly darker red for UC and UA returned to the brighter version--pretty much what Nike had used during their contract here.

I do agree that in the video, it appears more orange. Red is a tricky color in that regard--it can appear very different based upon your screen, browser settings, etc.. And I definitely wasn't wild about the highlighter orange Adidas used in those Bearcat tournament uniforms a few years ago.

I too enjoyed the video. It sets us apart as a major program in college basketball.
