Fewest by far ever drafted for I-AA/FCS
Unless I missed 1, were only 6:
-2nd Rd, 64th pick, Panthers: Jeremy Chinn, S, SIU.
-3rd Rd, 105th pick, Saints: Adam Troutman, TE, Dayton.
-5th Rd, 171st pick, Texans: Isiah Coulter, WR, URI.
-7th Rd, 227th pick, Bears: Lachavious Simmons, G, Tenn St.
-7th Rd, 231st pick, Cowboys, Dinucci
-7th Rd, 254th pick, Broncos, Derek Tuszka, DE, NDSU (missed being Mr Irrelevant by 1 pick).

Not having pro days hurts guys that are more under the radar.

Thankfully a lot of JMU players were observed throughout the season when scouts came to practices, etc so I think quite a few will get calls before the season starts. Just need to get into a camp and impress folks like Jimmy did last year.

Not having (or postponing) rookie try outs or mini camp is going to hurt too. I expect less UDFAs than prior years. Fewer will make rosters in the end as well. It is a shame the XFL, or any secondary/development league, isn’t going to happen this year.
