From a basketball standpoint, we can weather this storm. Still sad to see him go, though. I liked the kid. He played hard and did some great things. Figured he was a Tiger lifer. Hmmm. Best wishes, Tyler.

I hope this means we are about to upgrade at shooting guard.

Nolley has to sit a year.

It'll be hilarious if we don't.

Why would you find that funny?

Why does Nolley have to sit out and Tyler Harris wouldn't??

Also, wasn't Baylor recruiting Harris when we signed him?

I always go back to that game against Yale 2 seasons ago...glad we had Harris that game! Will miss him, but Tiger will be fine.

The one time transfer ‘no questions asked’ rule was supposed to be voted on in May but the vote may be pushed until June. Passage is expected.

Kinda hard to say what he would have done in a good offensive system with ball movement.

Can’t imagine he is going down a division. He is definitely a D1 quality player.

5'5" guards do better in DII or lower.

Let him go if that's where he chooses. I would imagine he goes somewhere that needs a 5'7" #2 guard

RE: Tyler Harris transfering ?
Wow... I don't dislike or hate people who quit I just feel they miss an opportunity they could never even imagine. The best work at being the best.
Brandon Vaughn Burlsworth of the University of Arkansas - He joined the team as a walk-on and eventually became an All-American. Michael Jordan was cut from his high school team, he didn't quit, he worked harder on his game than he ever thought possible. Although it did help he grew 4 inches between tryouts it was the Sticktoitiveness that won the day. Memphis' own Anthony Miller a walk-on was touted for how hard he worked at his craft, turned himself into an All-American. These guys have a burning desire to be great and I guess some do and most don't.

So competition gets tougher and instead of fighting for playing time he quits?

nah, quitting would be if he left mid season.

Scholarships are renewed annually.

He probably wants to,go to a school, where he'll either start or get big minutes off the bench. That wasn't happening here.

Good luck to,him.
