I thought his name was John Brannen. And I think it’s ridiculous that he is ranked above Chris Mack or Mick Cronin at this time just because- what has he done yet?

I do think he can get there, though.

I can tell you this for sure. This season was my first paying extra attention to the Norwood team. Travis Steele can simply not coach. His defensive strategy is horrific. Adjustments are almost non-existent with this guy. And he likes to put X's best offensive player on defense guarding the opponent's best scorer. Yet the opponent still gets his 20+ as good scorers do. And all Steele gets is his best scorer is tired, and has to force offense as his teammates stand around.

I do this with swipe text on my phone. Must have autocorrected. They use a formula to come up with the ratings, so it's not writer's opinion. I agree Mack seemed a little low, but they explain it factors in underachieving against preseason expectations and Louisville's past success. I can't really argue Cronin's rating tho. 1 Sweet 16 in 18 years as a head coach. Brannen won the conference. That's about as much as you could expect from Mick.

Coach did a great job of developing a cohesive unit in the face of adversity. He swung and missed with his choice of point guards, but was able to adjust. He and Jarron were not on the same page, but he led the way to a beneficial compromise. By the end of the year, Trey played at a level we had never seen. We ended up as the top team in the league.

His early recruiting looks very promising. The main weakness of this past year was turnovers. It appears that Dejulius was acquired to solve this problem at the expense of Tate. I know that is pure conjecture, but the timing is definitely uncanny.

I would not trade Xavier coaches. I think Mack v. Brannen is a push. So, yeah, I think john is about where he belongs. I understand the other point of view though.
