NHL vs NBA draft
Frankly, I didn't realize the NCAA treated sports different ways. I'd like to know your thoughts.

RE: NHL vs NBA draft
I've said for a long time that I really wish football and basketball were more like hockey and baseball where college is one path to the pros but not the only realistic path. Maybe that'll start to become the case with the G league, especially if they change those rules around the draft. Sure it'll mean less talent in the NCAA but it'll still be good sports. NCAA hockey and baseball are still good, just like FCS football and mid-major basketball are still good. On top of being good for the athletes, it also could be pretty cool to maybe have a major junior basketball or football team in Virginia to cheer for.

RE: NHL vs NBA draft
Difference with hockey is the kids that go the college route are so much older (usually 20-24) because they go to college after Juniors.
