None of those schools are realistic though

There is a better chance that the Pac-12 poaches the NFC West then there is of them inviting Baylor & BYU. The only way TCU would have a chance is if they were a preferred tag along of a Texas to the Pac-12 move but by themselves they have just a slightly better chance of being invited than Baylor/BYU. The other 3 run into problems of being the #2 school in a small state that are all (Colorado excluded) 1,000+ miles from the rest of the conference, no one is going to vote them in so they can lose games in California to travel out to the midwest.

If Texas was part of the move, the Horns could bring along anyone they want to bring along, including Baylor. If Texas is not part of it, then the Pac isn't adding new members from the central time zone, because TV isn't going to increase the per-school payout to Pac-12 members for any central time zone additions unless UT is one of them. Money talks.

Damn the politicals, David Krysakowski State!

Why? Examples from just the P5 where that is NOT the case:
Texas/Texas A&M
Iowa/Iowa State
Kentucky/Louisville
Georgia/Georgia Tech
Florida/Florida State
tOSU/Cincinnati (former P5)

I do not know anything about Virginia and Virginia Tech.

I am almost certain that Kansas and Kansas Kansas State do NOT have to be in the same conference.

I am certain that Oklahoma and Oklahoma State do NOT have to be in the same conference.

Because of politics.

Whiskey: other than my preference for the service academies being independent, I'd like to subscribe to your newsletter! I'd also add Notre Dame to the Great Lakes Conference.

Thanks. My thinking was ND would still rather stay independent. If they're added a MAC team would need to be called up as well to get to 12.
Also I just found a way to get all the conferences to 12 members. Heartland adds BYU and Utah. Pac12 adds Boise, SWC adds Tulane & Tulsa.

ACC:
Duke, NC State, UNC, Wake Forest, Virginia, Virginia Tech, Tennessee, Vanderbilt, Memphis, Kentucky, Louisville, Ole Miss
SEC:
Florida, FSU, UCF, Miami, USF, Georgia, Georgia Tech, South Carolina, Clemson, Alabama, Auburn, Mississippi State
Southwest Conference:
Texas, Texas A&M, Texas Tech, TCU, Baylor, Houston, SMU, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Tulsa, LSU, Tulane
Great Lakes Conference:
Indiana, Notre Dame, Purdue, Illinois, Northwestern, Michigan, Michigan State, Minnesota, Ohio State, Cincinnati, Wisconsin, Miami (OH)
Heartland Conference:
Iowa, Iowa State, Nebraska, Colorado, Colorado State, Air Force, Kansas, Kansas State, Missouri, Arkansas, Utah, BYU
Northeast Conference:
Boston College, Umass, Uconn, Rutgers, Syracuse, Army, Penn State, Pitt, Temple, Maryland, Navy, West Virginia
Pac 12:
Arizona, Arizona State, Oregon, Oregon State, Stanford, Ucal, UCLA, USC, Washington, Washington State, San Diego State, Boise State

This could also work as a break away league. Playoffs would be 16 teams. No CCG's.
Each division winner clinches a spot, 2 wild cards.

All of your examples except the last are P5 v P5. Ohio State has to actually play Cincinnati regularly for that to be a rivalry ... I don't think that one belongs on this list at all. Ohio State wants to maintain that illusion that they're the only football program in Ohio.

The only time a OOC P5 vs P5 rivalry was going to be put on P5 vs G5 footing politicians stepped in: UVA vs VT.

The political wildcard still exists and it still must be accounted for in realignment going forward.

Whiskey: the ONLY rivalry you break up is the Egg Bowl. Most people do MUCH worse.

Actually I wasn't trying to list rivalries as such. I was responding to an earlier post indicating that state P5 schools would have to be in the same conference due to politics. I was pointing out situations where P5 schools in a state are in different P5 conferences, not that they were necessarily rivalries (though most are). As such I listed Cincinnati only to the extent they were a former P5 school located in Ohio in a different conference than tOSU, not that they were a rival of tOSU. Sorry for any confusion my post caused.
P.S. Should have added Clemson/South Carolina to my list!
