Surprised he isn’t going pro. He will probably be a plug and play starter at a good P5 program and have a chance to get more NFL looks by playing strong competition. Similar ability to Mike Greene on the interior D-line.

Except based on his offers he’s posting it doesn’t seem the schools like LSU are coming around just yet. Maybe ends up at a lower P5 or below program. If you can play they’ll find you, even at Delaware. While he acquitted himself as a player at LSU, Cox ended up a late 4th rounder, so I’m not sure he elevated his draft status. Ironically, Lance went 3rd overall so he probably would’ve only hurt his draft stock, but a transfer to play that season would’ve helped his development as a QB and he’d be a better pro right now if he had done that. As it sits he’s had limited live competition since high school yet as a 3rd overall pick he should be expected to plug into the office ASAP and lead the franchise.

Give it some time for the transfer portal/NFL Draft declarations to make their full presence known. I'm sure there will be more offers coming his way.

Not saying we need or want him with our current guys and scouting transfers but interesting turn of events. It’s easy to have a negative outlook after he decommitted from us and is now not wanted by the new coach at Tech but I do feel a little bad for him. He could have been on the fast track to be our QB right after Cole.

VT QB Knox Kadum is in the portal, once a JMU commit. He made a few appearances and struggled for the Hokies. I doubt JMU extends an offer and would imagine he's headed to FCS for playing time.

I was about to say the same thing. Every other tweet feels like there’s a transfer kid say he’s gotten an offer from JMU.

Kobie Turner hasn't tweeted a JMU offer but is being followed by Cig and Hetherman. Has tweeted offers from App State, Liberty, and Southern Miss and you gotta think he's a guy JMU would like to have on board... Would be pretty funny to leave the CAA and take all the CAA's best players with a year or two of eligibility left with us

Might be kinda fun to play our first FBS season with a CAA all star squad. Some of these guys are legit.
