$2000 a month from the government if that legislation passes.

That’s the problem. We can’t open some areas and not others.

I think I’ll skip New York for a couple of years.

I’d say at least a decade for me.

NYC has zero appeal.

Remember the scenes of people walking out of the city when the power went down a few years back? Yeah, hard pass.

The thing is - because of all the confirmed infections, NYC likely has the HIGHEST % of Covid-immune people in America.

That IN ITSELF would help dampen any 2nd wave.

Honestly, a logical person (many politicians aren't logical) would see that the hardest-hit areas would be less at risk of a massive 2nd wave. E.g., less risk involved in opening early. Instead, they'll wait forever.

How do you ever actually open NYC? There is no social distancing even possible. Treating the situation in say NYC vs say Wyoming is just idiotic.

That's gonna cause more problems for neighboring states to NYC... Those folks will travel there to get whatever they want and not care if they pass the disease.. Several came to Philly because they were told not to come to the hospital unless it was an emergency so they came over here because they thought they had it, some did, some didn't and well Philly blewt up.
