Unless you weren't at this game it's hard to describe the incredible atmosphere. My favorite baseball game ever. Hawks were down but man that crowd knew they were going to come back and win

I can think of three other basketball moments -

Chris Meighn's 3 point heave from halfcourt to erase a two point deficit against american.

TJ Carter rebounding a missed free throw by george mason then taking it end to end for a buzzer beater to defeat mason at mason.

Brian Rowsom's only career three pointer beats ezu at the buzzer in the CAA tourny in Hampton.

I remember that ECU UNCW game as if it were yesterday. We had lost so many close games and still won like 18 or 19 overall. We had to the eventual National Champions by 1, I think we lost to Wake at the buzzer by 1 point via Mark Cline's line drive, Southern Illinois by 1 and one other one.

The deal is that we played tight and everything was against us. What gets overlooked is that Gary hit a huge 3 ball with about 25 seconds to go and Charles Cherry hit that top of the key 3 ball to give us a chance. When Rowsom hit the shot, we all went nuts. We had to drive to Wrightsville Beach and just walk on the beach for a minute to calm down. Fun team to follow that year because Rowsom was basically unstoppable.

Although he was only here 2 years, you cannot have this thread and leave out Denzel Ingram. He had as many buzzer beaters as any player I can remember. He was clutch in every big game. For all the talk about Flemmings, Cacok and Bryce, Denzel was a stone cold killer when it mattered most. Clutch shots, clutch free throws. You can go back to just about every huge game he was here and he always delivered.

I truly believe Phillips can be our next Denzel
