We all got a pretty good laugh about it. Probably a little messed up, but I didn't post to shed him in a negative light. We all liked him just the same afterward. My boy wasn't 21 either; he came from a community college, so he was probably 20 at the time, but we really didn't understand why his ID was "picked", but he was "that guy" that stuff always happened to.

UNCW had some really dumb practices back then. Why they required a driver's license to check into a dorm I'm not sure, and the very first student ID (I think it was called the UNSea Card) I received had my social security number on it.

I remember the same being required of visitors to dorms when I was there. I had a UNSea card too but I don’t recall if my social was on it or not though. Either way, that’s colossally dumb.

while i agree, remember it was a hell of a lot harder to steal someone's ID back than.

Disagree. It’s a helluva lot harder now. I was in school from 02-06. All you needed was someone’s social back then. While you can still accomplish using that info to exploit, its much more difficult because of the extra steps of security most businesses, etc require.

In 03, the same thing happened to my brother at ezu. Someone went through his trash from his dorm, got his social off of a bill and went and opened 10 cell phone accounts. He never even knew about it and his credit being trash until he tried to enlist in the CG in ‘08. By then, nothing could be done. He went and got a bank loan to pay off the bills that were never paid in his name to clear it so he could join.

It’s his own fault he went to ezu though... dumbarse.

The same argument can be made for the opposite. I couldn't take your SS jump online and open a CC in less than 10 mins. Those cell phone companies should have been checking his ID. Sucks for him, especially with no recourse.

I don't think either one of us are wrong. I just stated arguments can be made either way.... and they can

Too rich about your brother CG. Your final comment about his school choice made me laugh....not going to lie.

That was such an atrocious stretch of rosters.

Team Moss was just trying to accurately epitomize the win-loss record during the Moss era. And,it looks like this roster achieved this via comparison to the best of the best.

I had Team Wainwright. No way opponents would score on my team. Twitter is most certainly a young man’s locale!
