Fans complain to officials about a particular call when that call was actually the correct call on the court/field.

Hearing of a player's skill "off the bounce," their "hops," "handles," etc.

I would add “in space”, “Cinderella” anything, and “captured the imagination”.

Elaborate please....guess you’re talking LeBron and others pathetic political statements because they are such a “big deal”, and we should listen to their intelligent rants?

Please...guys so very fortunate he was born with such great God given ability, otherwise would probably be sacking groceries in Akron.

Jesus.

No one says you have to agree with them. That's freedom of speech for us all. You don't even have to listen to them! But because they make their money playing ball, they should not talk about politics because God forbid their views might differ from yours?

Grow up and learn how to not let other people's opinions influence you so much.

That’s my entire point, Nancy. No matter what celebrities or sports figures spout, their opinion means no more than mine or yours. The only problem is they have a platform to persuade simple minded followers to agree with them, not that they are right or wrong, but due to their status.

Do you really think that most folks really follow economic and true governmental policies or just follow like sheep because a favorite actor or sports figure throws out some crap on Instagram or Twitter?

Get real! 01-wingedeagle
