The fabulous and do everything Shu Muthyala-moving on to the Methodist Foundation.

Shu has been the best. Thanks so much for your 8 years of effort.

Indeed. Big loss for Rice. Great gain for the Methodist Hospital system.

Shu - we all wish you and your family well in this and all your future endeavors. Come back and see us when you can.

Yup. I was going to post a couple weeks ago, but waiting for it to become public. Friday is his last day at Rice, but he'll continue being a fixture at Rice sporting events. He'll be overseeing their big annual gala. HUGE loss.

When I posted something critical of the athletic administration a day or two back, I kept asking myself, "Do I add, except Shu?" I didn't but I should have. Now that exception no longer applies.

Farewell, Shu, and we wish you the very best in your new position. You will be a great addition to Methodist. But you will be a huge loss to Rice. Nothing but the best for someone who gave his best to Rice.

When I saw the headline, I thought "Who has died now"? Thank goodness it was not a death, but just a good person moving on with their lives.

I too want to thank Shu and recognize his help to me in innumerable instances.

If he had been given any sort of product to work with I think we might have had our last shot at actually generating an outside fan base. Good luck Shu!

yeah, that was what I thought from the headline. Glad he's okay. Sorry to lose Shu. Thanks for helping do what you could for us. Good luck in your new job.

I had some great interactions with Shu as well. It is a loss that Shu will be on another foot.
