He has the third most wins all time at Wake Forest including 3 NCAA tournaments and 2 NITs.

When my dad was in school at Pulaski county high in SWVA, Carl was the basketball coach and my dad was the QB for the FB team. My dad remembers he and David his best friend and RB walked by and Carl said here come the gold dust boys. Carl was 10 years older than my dad.

Any way, Carl was diagnosed in December with Leukemia and died yesterday morning in a NC hospital.
