So how many open spots do we have available now?

And is he considered a forward or a guard or both?

Marshall may be making his decision today, too. Don’t think we have another spot, though.

My understanding is both, similar to the way Nicholson plays.

RE: Second Commit of the AK Era: Terrell Ard Jr.
There's a tweet from his coach or something that says he had 15 offers total. Going through his Twitter feed this is what I saw:

Here's a list from August:
Charleston
Towson
Hofstra
UMass
Mercer
Stetson
UIC
FIU
MSU (Morehead State?)
USC Upstate
Presbyterian
Kennesaw State
Tampa

Here's his recent tweets:
Canisius
Austin Peay
JMU
UAB

Not saying it was your intent. We, in the past, lost recruits to Eastern Kentucky, Weber State, and Central Connecticut State. This is a step in the right direction. He may get a high major offer now, just because we got his pledge.

It’s seems as the connection to UAB that Ard has, is being a former teammate of Benjamin. AAU ball, I assume.

Just remember that the number signed is not as important (to the NCAA) as the number you keep in the fall. Since scholarships are annually renewed, they can be terminated as well. In football, UAB signs about 25 every year but can only keep 85 in the fall. Transfers, quitting and other reasons for ending scholarship standing account for those losses, but they MUST occur.
