The best topics were when Greg would take on the fans from the Foreskins and crush them with his logic. Sometimes he used this board and sometimes their board, but he always won. The MU fans loved him as did we. I miss his annual dismantling of them.

The weekend that Fickell was rumored to be leaving for the MSU job was an instant classic. We had some posters who were convinced he was a goner and then out of nowhere Pete Thamel drops the news and everyone was stunned lol.

As I recall Greg played football at Northwestern.

As I recall Greg played football at Northwestern.

He indeed played football at Northwestern. That was the beginning of his back problems. He got his JD at Vanderbilt after it was personally recommended by then presidential candidate Ronald Reagan.

Greg was one of the 10 smartest people that I met in my life. He was also one of the kindest souls I have ever encountered.

Andy Kennedy threads were very popular in 2006.

If anyone gets super bored diring their shut in, there are topics saved in the archive daying all the way back to 2004 after everyone left CUSA talk. Wow, I am not sure if that makes me cool or very uncool that I have been on this thing that long.

I'm partial to the old haiku threads during the Tubbs and Cronin era.
