Any movie buffs out there? Follow me on letterboxd. It's a neat little place to rate and review films, and categorize your interests. With over 1.5 million users, it serves as a pretty decent social network as well.

Hmm...last movie I watched? The Black Velvet Gown. It was horrible. Wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
Before that..The King's Speech. (not the first time) Do I really have to pump this one up?

I see you like Darren Aronofsky. Pi is probably my favorite movie. (Maybe tied with Ed Wood.)
Also, any connection between your username and the popular cyberpunk card games?

Have been watching a lot on Netflix lately; we're about midway through season 3 of Ozark and it's really, really good. Starting watching Lost in Space the last week...not too excited about but interesting nonetheless.
Watched 1917 for the second time (first time at the cinema) and liked the movie but didn't think it was the best of what's out there. Last night we watched "The Gentlemen"...Matthew McConaughey, William Hunnam, Colin Farrell, Hugh Grant...really well done with lots of plot twists and turns. Worth the watch.

Yeah man. I loved playing Netrunner until it was discontinued. My friends and are big time table top gamers. This year would have been our 4th year going to the Atlanta Game Fest, but we decided to go to Star Wars land instead. The trip has been cancelled for obvious reasons.
I would have enjoyed Pi more when I was in middle school or high school. I was on the math team and would often write down numbers and try to figure out how to connect them, or to find patterns. Big nerd stuff. I found the movie to be a little too on the nose, but maybe I don't understand it fully. The Fountain, on the other hand, is one of my favorite movies. Absolutely stunning art direction.

Just got done watching the mini-series Pacific on HBO. Outside of Pearl Harbor, Nagasaki, Hiroshima and a lesser extent Guadalcanal, the Pacific theater tends to take a back seat in WWII to defeating the Nazis in Europe but the amount of bloodshed endured by Americans and the Japanese on tiny islands most have never heard of is staggering to think about. Makes you wonder the amount of intestinal fortitude it took our country to come out victorious while fighting on separate fronts across two vast oceans and would citizens today answer the call if we were faced with a similar situation.
Highly recommend if you enjoy war movies just try not to get to attached to the characters.
