Does anybody think MM is a first-round draft prospect?

I don't recall having seen his name on any of the mock draft websites (not that that necessarily means anything) — perhaps not even for the second round.

Thoughts?

Would be a huge blow to GU.

Makes sense with the articles that have come out about him over the last month. He is simply testing the water but if he does sneak into the first round he should pull the trigger. It's a positive to show that Ewing can take what people thought was a youtube star and turn them into an NBA player

Do you think MM could possibly be a first-round consideration? I would think not. But Big Pat did a strong job this year with GU under some tough circumstances. As such, some NBA scouts might think McClung (having been well coached by an ex-NBA star) would be a nice "flier" choice in the second round.

Could definitely see it. He's young, and has a lot of upside. If he doesn't seem ready after summer league and training camp, throw him a 2 way contract and develop him a bit.
