I lived there four years and can vouch for that.
I know it’s easier said than done, but I’d love to see the City round up a bunch of big, mean, underfed alley-cats and just turn them loose for a week or so.
Then they'd just have a stray cat issue, lol.

New Orleans is a shithole
Sounds like an opinion rather than fact. No honesty at all.
I share his opinion. If you're not well to do enough to live somewhere really nice most of the city is a sewer.
Great beans..
Wait, is that you Drew?

Well, yeah, you’d have to make sure they were all sterilized/spayed before you turned them loose.

Cheetz, Cats schmatz, pellet guns I tell you. I used to hunt rabbits with a simple pellet gun and believe me it'll do the job. Jack rabbits were a different story it took about 3 shots to bag them.
Real story, we used to eat domestic rabbits a lot when my BIL was alive and they were good. One time I bagged a jack rabbit and my wife cooked it really well and it tasted good but just the fact that it was a jack rabbit it was hard to swallow. The dog got lucky he ate the rest of Bugs Bunny. I never hunted jacks anymore, just cotton tails and domestics.

I’m not against the pellet-gun method. But I honestly question how many people in New Orleans are equipped with such weapons *and* have the skill to hit such a small/fast-moving target.
But I’d love to see a demonstration and be proven wrong on this. If only N.O. would be willing to try it.
