As I read it: He redshirted in 2018 and didn't play in 2019. If he has to sit out a season...

He is an excellent student (academic All-Big Ten) so he wouldn't go JUCO to play a year.

Youngstown State? Yikes. I think they are FCS. Hoping this has something to do with being closer to family maybe. If it was because of competition, then so be it and good luck to the man.
