Am I nuts, or did Steve Kerr check out Jacob Evans in person at one point during the 2017-18 season?

I may be mistaken but I don't recall that. I do recall the GM Bob Myers coming.

ESPN top 103 draft prospects. No mention of KW.

Yeah, KW coming back for sure. He's still young enough with enough upside to sneak into the 2nd round with a monster year.

Smart move for both. All juniors with aspirations of playing professionally should go through the process. I expect Vogt and KW will return for their senior seasons.

Yes, i guess the real question is how much benefit any of the guys get this year from the "process". At least in the past, you got some practice. Now maybe just private workouts which you can at last get feedback.

Free private workouts with feedback? If that's the case, I would like to formally declare for the 2020 NBA draft. I would like to thank Bearcat Banter for the continued UC fan camaraderie, and the ongoing inspirational/passionate all things UC debates/discussions. 03-wink

I think you're going to see more guys do this the next month. Also, i think there will be more guys in the portal. Until some season plans become clearer, it's pot luck.

Assuming they both come back I agree. Both are flawed players whose flaws I think prevent them from ever being real NBA candidates. The league loves skilled guards and Keith has shown no ability to handle the ball through 3 years. They love bigs that can move and guard the perimeter and that's not Chris. I hope both come back and move from low double digits to the mid teens point wise but I also think that if one of them is our best player at the end of next year we'll probably be limited to a 8-10 seed type team.

I think it will be a scoring by committee approach assuming Keith and Chris both come back -- kind of like how it was in 2017-18 with Evans, Cumberland, Clark, and Washington taking turns as the leading scorer. Along with Keith and Chris, the two transfers if both eligible will be capable of getting into double figures, and you'll see more consistent scoring out of Mika Adams-Woods, Mamadou Diarra, and Zach Harvey as well.

Hell yeah, I really need one, my phone has been wringing off the hook since declaring. Apparently, the NBA is lacking in nonathletic short white guys, and they think I could be the perfect candidate to fill that void. My highlight tape is below.

I’ll get on the phone with my NBA buds and yell, “Show me the money!!!!!!”

We’re gonna be rich!
