Protective Stadium: Curious To See How COVID-19 Affects It
Since the "Live Cam" is not actually "Live" I can see maybe 10 people on site right now (3-27-20 @ 1pm)

Most likely delays a season. Worst case it’s never finished or delayed for years due economic collapse

The BJCC said earlier this week that construction on Protective Stadium and the Legacy Arena renovation would continue.

I take a peek daily on the progress. They have made a lot of headway. There has been a lot of deep foundation pile work that has taken place. We are just now seeing some columns being poured in the last two weeks.

Earlier this week the sky crane was erected indicating you will start seeing more vertical work happening.

You can't see all the workers on that site. If you zoom in you lose the clarity. At some points they had ten to twelve workers just tying the rebar for the columns alone in the staging area.

I haven't seen any slowdown. They work Saturdays and in the rain for the most part.

There has been a butt load of concrete alresdy poured.

You will start seeing more visable progress but they have been getting after it.

Btw look at the lower left (west) portion of the camera view. There is a food truck that has been parked there on the street adjacent to the site for weeks. He/She has a grill set up. They must be making a killing.

Keep an eye on the progress. I think you'll be impressed.

I've seen no slow down.

I check the webcam daily and have seen a HUGE amount of progress! Today I see they are building the foundations for the press box structure on the west side.

Wyld Child catering food truck is the one. I've had one of their brisket nachos. Delicious.

Financing should be locked in, so it shouldn’t stop. Outside chance they could save some cash if subcontractors are losing work

Thank goodness, there is a way. Click on his name & you’ll see an ignore button.

It looks like they are preparing to pour the first elevated slab.

I think I see a field-level retaining wall being constructed on the East side of the stadium this morning.

Shouldn't you be 40 miles east of there

I still expect the stadium to be built on schedule. However, I’m beginning to believe we have played our last game at Legion Field.

As long as corona doesn't impact construction, that's a good thing

I imagine this has more to do with the Olympics being moved to next year. World Games doesn't want to go head to head against that.

Is there a live-feed like the one for the football complex?
