Nothing you haven’t seen or couldn’t guess, though it’s interesting that ODU is playing Sooooooouiiie Pig in Little Rock and not Fayetteville. Last year Arkansas played Valpo there.

Really wish this was a weekend game, so more could make the trip. But add @ECU on December 1 to the schedule.

Guessing that's a home-and-home? Can't imagine that being a buy, though stranger things have happened (like why go to Charlotte twice, once for the 49ers and once for a neutral-site game against Liberty?)

Other than Arkansas, every OOC game so far is against a former CAA opponent. There's no other ex-ODU opponents from the CAA that I'd want to add, unless maybe UNCW was good. Perhaps Hofstra but the I-95 teams north and east of D.C. never did it for me.

Schedule looks good to me. Not a barn burner, but we don't likely have an at large team.

+1 - That's exactly the type of schedule we should be playing... Potentially Richmond, JMU, George Mason, and East Carolina on the home slate the following year. And I agree, the remaining games are probably home games - or at least they should be - our players need to play in front of our fans too.....

Do non-DI teams affect RPI? Not in favor of them outside of exhibition, but I didn't think RPI was affected by them.

I don't care who other CUSA squads are scheduling as long as we're good enough to win when we play against them.

It doesn't impact RPI. And I can't blame the coaches of programs like USM and UTSA from scheduling them. They need home games and they have a tiny budget. So, you buy teams you can afford to buy.

The real question is, with so many teams playing these games, why don't they give the non-D1s the worst possible rating in NET and RPI? That way these games are included in the calculation and the teams playing them have an RPI or NET that fits their actual scheduling.
