You won't see the left media pushing this story. They want all the deaths by Covid-19 they can get. They love trying to blame every death on Trump. This person drank fish cleaner and not hydroxychloroquine, but the media is going to blame a person getting struck by lightning and dying on Trump. This might not turn out to be a successful treatment, but hopefully it is.

is that an 'off label' use for a drug requires significantly less (almost no, especially in a time of need) review than a 'new drug', which can take a very long time to be declared 'safe'. Just because something kills a virus in a test-tube doesn't mean it doesn't cause birth defects in the children of those it may save (simple example).

The classic example was Thalidomide, a sleeping pill popular in Europe and Canada, but IIRC FDA never approved it in the USA. When taken by pregnant women, it was found to cause deformities in babies.
I was working on assignment in Boston one year, and flew home on Christmas Eve. Our aircraft came from Montreal, so there were a number of Canadians on our flight. The family sitting across the aisle had a teen-age son whose hands were basically shaped like bird of prey's claws, six fingers with three on each side. All I could think of was "Thalidomide."

I understand birth defects because now we call them Democrats. Their brains and hearts were the most affected. It came from eating Liberal shiate.
