I guess I might be just a little bit sentimental. But this year, Penny's style of play really brought back the feel of the Calipari years: Great defense and transition style, fast pace basketball.

Watching this group of players and their personalities really show up on the floor has been really fun. I hope the coaching staff can stick together one more year and most of the players return (and the season is played). If they do, it's going to be really really fun.

Yep...but that team was full of juniors, a senior enforcer, and a transcendent freshman plus a group that played prep school after high school. They were older and more physically mature than the group Penny has. Maybe this group can be that in a couple of years. Need an inside presence like Joey though.

I'm surprised they didn't have Precious dunk at Cincy in the video. That was the dunk of the year.

Yes they were 23-26 year olds. Thus years team was 18-20 year olds.

If you are talking about the DJ less team...I think the 2002 team wins...But no where near a blowout (After Tulsa this team worst loss was @Houston by 7)

With DJ this years team wins.

Hell no, everyone of those guys bounce off Precious and none of them are as driven as Lomax. Hell LQ has a career game off of Scooter.

obviously it has the infamous Drexler over Turner dunk, but also exactly at the 2:00 mark, it has a Keith Lee dunk
