Still haven't heard anyone who's income has been affected to date cheering on these shutdowns.

I got pulled over today and issued a bs ticket.....take a guess why?!

GO TO COURT!!! Oh wait.

it was Petal.....go figure....the 'burg just had a gang bang shooting in the ave's the other day....again, go figure....

at this rate, municipalities like these will go under before the end of the year....

just remember this....

#~1mos.

I'm hardly the brightest bulb in the pack, but man, this is getting ready to get ugly faster than you can sneeze....

DJT HAS TO END THIS!

IT'S KENNEDY/MISSILE TIME

I understand the 'why' to date (as we and others have tried to explain to ad nauseam), but he has to pull that 'trigger'.....you don't me and others having to make 'that' decision....

that's where it ends up if not.....

and my crystal ball has been pretty much spot-on to date....

If you are staying in your car you are meeting the essence of the shelter in place. Tickets for that are unconstitutional. Not everyone can walk. And walking in your neighborhood can get boring, especially if you have long blocks.

while I don't disagree.........

when nobody is on the row-add and ANY municipality is cash strapped going into this bs.......naw man, 'they' can find any reason find 'fit'.....

#policeStateComingSoonToYOU

this is one of the many consequences coming.....it's only one of the many I've been trying to define in stink-alese....

Dunk told ya guys to write your senators and congressman.....he's right....and it still isn't enough....

all this bs is coming from someone that is apolitical, unless req'd......well, after Zero, it became a requirement.....

#henceDJT and he's getting his arse reamed for that reason.....he picked the fight, and I and many another backed his arse.....

he HAS TO END THIS

this is the battle......and I refuse the 'refuse' that is both sides of the aisle AND THE FAUX THAT 'CARE'.....THAT'S BS TOO! G'DAMMIT

Georgia has the state parks open. But it isn't clear if you are allowed to travel by vehicle. You are allowed to do "outdoor activities" (ie exercise). So can you drive to state or other parks? A strict reading of the ordinance allows necessary travel, but necessary travel doesn't include going to outdoor activities.

Its one of those 'better judgement' laws as it really isn't enforceable IMO. You drive to a state park and it looks full, find another one. If NYC still has the subways and buses running how serious really is a 'stay at home' order. It's really just trying to keep people from bunching up in confined spaces like ballparks, bars or walmarts.

There are only 8 holdouts, although Kentucky and Massachusetts also don't have mandatory orders, but advisory, so you could say 10.

RE: States on Lockdown (Shelter In Place)
I don't get the churches staying open - Governor Abbott in Texas did the same thing and I see from the South Carolina link that the same thing is happening there. First off, most churches don't want to be open right now as there are plenty of small churches that were the incubators for bad outbreaks in various small towns (I think I read of two towns in Alabama and Mississippi where at least a dozen churchgoers are now dead). Secondly, the bigger churches can produce all their services online. Yes, some of them can't pass around the collection plate; but if that is your only complaint about online services, then you're probably conducting the services for the wrong reasons to begin with.

I’d trust churchgoers to follow protection protocols more than NYC transit users. Both should stop, but only one group is widely criticized.

I lived in Manhattan for seven years. Stopped taking the subway after year one. Never set foot on a bus. NYC public transit is disgusting. And I lived on the 4/5/6, one of the cleaner lines.

You were able to make it that long in NYC just by cab/walking?

Bunch of Karens everywhere. Nannies clamoring for the police for any public group larger than 4 people. People genuinely pissed the cops aren't enforcing a heavy-handed lockdown. Lots and lots of people that turn into little fascists at the first sign of panic.

And if they are doing their own self-isolation thing, it doesn't effect them.
