Did he ever play at Clark Atlanta after he left JMU?
Pretty sure his mom or a family member was angry with JMU and went on a social media blitz after he left.

that's correct, I cant blame byington. You either keep the dead weight and lose your job in 3 or 4 years, or you be honest with some young men and ask them to look elsewhere

I only brought up the 6’9” point because that’s a complaint may fans have with the JMU team. Flowers had committed to Loyola of Maryland prior to de-commiting and signing with JMU. That’s often was you get above 6’7” 6’8”. There are real trade offs for that extra inch or two at the mid major level. JMU isn’t UNC and the 6’9” guys you get a crack at or limited and projects.

I have to say, I'm happy to hear that about jayvis. He was a high basketball IQ guy who worked hard on defense.

Amazing that you go from being a 4 star recruit to splitting minutes at the division 2 level.

Rowe was not good at recruiting, and he did damage the reputation of JMU in the basketball community.
He was not a good hire.

Good for Jayvis - he seemed like a good enough kid and it looks like hes found a home to finish his career and get himself a degree for the next steps in life.

Anyone know if the Bank Center or BFS has had the CAA logo removed?
That pic needs to be posted on this board

Less so about the whole joining on July 1, but probably moreso about summer maintenance and new budget year; I am confident we won't see facility logos getting changed until July and more likely August. It's a fan priority but I doubt it's the first thing on the Athletic Director's list. They just need to be ready for gameday.
I am curious about the basketball court. I guess since the court is in pieces they can do this without having to strip and repaint the entire floor... probably will need to do the entire lane though.

They take time. It's not like it's a sticker they can just rip off the floor.
And these things cost money!! Perhaps they are going to put in a new floor instead. Either way, either a new floor or removing the logo to put the new one on take time, scheduling, supplies and labor.
As for Bridgeforth, the turf needs to be ripped out and the new logo needs to be stitched in on both sides. It will happen.
All I care about is the CAA doesn't get any more publicity from us than they should. JMU I'm sure doesn't want that logo there any longer than we do.
I honestly doubt they're going to just post a picture of the court or field minus the logo. If anything, it will be something like "Hey check out the field with the Sun Belt logo!!" Even mentioning it's gone is too much publicity for them to have.

That sounds like an excuse. Other teams in the CAA have been able to recruit some bigs who could play.
