RE: Hoops recruiting
He’s the only one that should have a guaranteed spot in starting 5. I do worry that he rethinks Bham and heads up to Bowling Green.

Very good shooter, skilled scorer, but undersized and with a slow release on his jumper. I think like Jarvis Calhoun, he is going to find it very difficult to adjust to college level defenders.
Pinson coach said folks have nit picked his game like this over and over. But he feels Woods will be good college player because he is very athletic. The McKinstry kid on same team is incredible athlete too especially in football. Being 6'1" could be an issue.

RE: Hoops recruiting
After watching some Kam highlights, I think he would have definitely been a contributor last season.
He’s 6’1 and explosive enough to dunk. I don’t necessarily see the slow release, but perhaps he does frame his shot for a split second at the peak of his shot. Much more polished than Jarvis.
Offensively, a backcourt of Benjamin Buckets and Kam would be nice, but defensively, it would be a problem. More likely that Kam would be Benjamin’s backup.
I don’t know who else we can make a run at, but it’s not going to hurt my feelings if he’s on the roster.

Wouldn't our biggest need right now be a big guy to ride the pine in place of Jude?

RE: Hoops recruiting
I really hope Jude lands somewhere that I can watch him play a couple games. Really, I just want to see his game for myself. As useless as Gueye is at times, I just think “how bad is Jude that he can’t get 2 minutes on the floor in front of Gueye”

Would love for HCAK to take a look at Dallas Howell instate shooter headed to a JuCo. Or current JuCo Isaac Chatman both 6'6 Alabama kids.

The 3 names I’ve seen are Ryan Cross at ULM, Philip Pearson at Clemson, & Butch Pierre at NW FSC

Hopefully.
Some talking about Woods id rather have Sears if we even need a PG at the moment.
From a Haase-Ehsan point we're missing a 5th big and guard. I dont know what AK might do, might have 9 guards and 4 bigs. Just excited about being at a mid major level again just off the hire. Hope to high major soon.
I do think we sign a scorer a guy who can easily put up 17-18 a game like a Chad Frazier scorer on all levels. Benji and Lovan are very one dimensional offensively. Possibly find a true floor general that gets guys going something we may have or not.

RE: Hoops recruiting
Kennedy can’t be like Ehsan and staff and ignore recruits based on suspicion of what other schools will do to land them. Make an offer and build some sort of relationship. No more cowering. Make the short trip up I-65, closer to him than AU.
Tired of not trying for anybody within 50 miles of us. Grow some balls. Even HS coaches are shaking their head at the lack of an attempt to recruit locally.

you gonna pitch in for the bag of money that they are gonna use to sweeten up the deal?
Alabama hasnt offered him they have one open
Auburn has 3 really two open but three as most expect Okaro to go pro they still haven't replaced any bigs with two leaving doubt hes a true option for them
UAB we could use anything right now.
