The question I want answered, what percentage of those actually tested are positive? Is it a high number, 50%, 70% or is it a low number 5% of those tested. That would let us know how wide spread this thing currently is, or if it’s still well contained.

At this point, I think the percentages are fairly low. But, we still have tested so few people, relatively speaking, I not sure it means a whole lot.

When my son, the doctor, was warning me not to go to New Orleans last week, I told him that was ridiculous since there were no reported cases in Louisiana. He said there are plenty of cases there, but they are unreported due to lack of testing. I just checked and, a week later, there are reported 280 cases in Louisiana and 7 deaths. I'm sure he would now tell me that is still a gross underestimate. I guess dad will listen to his son in the future.

In Louisiana specifically, 805 people tested with 347 confirmed cases and 8 deaths.

In Georgia just over 1800 tested with 20% positive as of yesterday.
