Some of our better basketball games
With nothing else to do in this Coronavirus era I have been watching some of our better basketball games (Kentucky 2004, Virginia 1982). This led me to rank what I think are our better victories, and this is my top five.
Kentucky 2004
Virginia 1982
Kentucky 1981
Louisville 2003 ( we lost the game 83-78, one of the best games I have ever seen)
Iowa State 2017

I was at the Virginia and 04 UK game you listed and I will tell that as great of a game that UK game was, it doesn't even compare to the UVA game.
1. Ralph Sampson
2. Elite 8 game
3. At a sold out BJCC with the loudest crowd ever for a basketball game.
Nothing has come close to it since.

2004 was a great basketball game, both of them. The Charge, The Pass, The Shot. I ate every meal at the Italian restaurant next to Nationwide Arena, which is why we won.
1982 was a religious experience. You could feel the arena come alive. Not just the people. The concrete, too.

That was when we caught the fire. 1982.
The embers are fading but will always be there for more fire!

UAB over BYU 102-83 at the BJCC, 2/1988
This is still the best basketball game I have ever been to. BYU was set to ascend to #1 in the polls after the team(s?) ahead of them lost. I can't remember if they came into that game as #2 or 3.
BYU handled our guys through most of the game and the large Mormon contingent started chanting "eighteen and oh" and "we're number one!" With about 5 minutes left in the game, the Blazers flipped the table and took the lead, never looking back. The faithful in the arena started chanting "seventeen and ONE!" What a fun game that was.

Is the Virginia and Louisville game available somewhere on the internet?

I believe they were #3 at the time.

The NIT game against Louisiana Lafayette in Mike Anderson's first year. After that tourney run and the near upset over Louisville, UAB basketball was officially "Back" and a near packed house watched us win a hard fought game against a quality team.
The Butler game in the Davis years where we "dunked all over them" and sent the Ronald Norred cheering section home disappointed.
The Houston game where a freshman Aaron Johnson hit a floater as time expired to win a high scoring back-and forth affair.
Some memorable road games:
PD3 taking over in the CUSA tourney against USM, hitting the last second 3 to send the game into overtime, then hitting a contested layup to win the game in extra time.
Taking over Troy's gym.
Taking over JSU's gym.
Taking over USM's gym.
Those Houston games around the end of anderson's tenure and the first few years of Davis were always awesome. I remember the one where the houston coach "fainted" and the final score was in the 90s

The Depaul games early on at the BJCC were classic.

UVa Ralph Sampson game stamped UAB onto the national map.
BYU game was fun also.
All wins over Kentucky were glorious, but I was in Venezuela and missed the win over them as a one seed in the NCAAAs with the twins. I did get to see the Kansas game in the next round. Ugh.

The Depaul games during the sweet 16 season and the following season were all excellent games and were all huge toward getting at large births.

Let me correct myself, that UVA game was a Sweet 16 win that got UAB to the Elite 8 against Louisville.
