Biden's coronavirus adviser wants Biden to die
https://www.nationalreview.com/corner/jo...die-at-75/
Well not specifically, but he thinks everyone should die at 75. This is the mainstream people the Democrats pick.
"...The bioethicist Ezekiel Emanuel — a prime architect of Obamacare — is the most famous person on the committee. Why is that important? Emanuel made headlines a few years ago by writing in The Atlantic that he wants to die at age 75 — younger than Joe Biden is today — and he thinks we should want that too. From his piece:
Here is a simple truth that many of us seem to resist: living too long is also a loss. It renders many of us, if not disabled, then faltering and declining, a state that may not be worse than death but is nonetheless deprived. It robs us of our creativity and ability to contribute to work, society, the world. It transforms how people experience us, relate to us, and, most important, remember us. We are no longer remembered as vibrant and engaged but as feeble, ineffectual, even pathetic.
That’s a terrible attitude about the elderly, a denigrating “quality of life” judgmentalism that deems the value of the old as having less importance than that of younger people...."

RE: Biden's coronavirus adviser wants Biden to die
So, does he want us to line up a firing squad for Pelosi, Hoyer, Biden, Bernie, McConnell, etc.?
And the idiot who said that is only 62, of course.

RE: Biden's coronavirus adviser wants Biden to die
Personally, I don't want to live so long that I'll just be getting along. Every week I take my wife to PT and I see some people that if they could they would rather be dead. I just want to live as long as I can still function if it's at 83 (at that age I'll get the 30 years I invested at work) then so be it. Honestly, I'm 71 and I find no pleasure in life. I would NEVER take my own life but I pray that I won't be subjected to a life of a vegetable. What's the point? I'm still very active and people don't believe that I'm that old but what can I tell you, it's boring as heck. I guess that's the price I pay for all the stuff I've done on this earth. My life has been equivalent to 5 normal guys as far as doing stuff. I could drop dead right now and it would be okay with me, however, there is no way that I want to leave my wife by herself. I have to outlive her because no one will ever love and take care of her like I will and have.
Who needs a psychiatrist when I have you guys. LOL

Biden's coronavirus adviser wants Biden to die
My grandpa is 94. He gets bored daily, especially in the winter when it's too cold for him outside. He's alone the majority of the day and has seen every western movie ever made a few times over. I know he gets bored. He uses a walker and has trouble with daily tasks from time to time. He also gets in his truck and drives the 15 miles to town 2-3 days a week. The people at the grocery store all know him by name, and help him get his heavier stuff in the truck. He goes for weekly haircuts, and will go to walmart quite often for one thing or another or just to ride the buggy around the store to browse. Yesterday he climbed on his tractor and mowed ditchbanks around the farm for a few hours since th weather was good. Today he went to town to pick up his great grandkids from school when when my sister couldn't make it on time. It's a shame that some supposedly intelligent people dont see value in the life of the elderly. I know not everybody his age can do what my grandpa does, but plenty can. Physical activity aside, people his age are a treasure for the experiences and stories that they share. Not too many WWII vets are still around. Fewer still are those that were around and grew up in places without electricity or indoor plumbing. Anybody can look up their family history on a website like ancestry, but to hear what your great-great grandparents were like first hand is altogether different. They say youth is wasted on the young, and I'm sure the elderly know this better than most of us, but the knowledge and lessons that the elderly possess are sadly wasted by those of us younger than dont bother to ask.

I understand if someone personally feels that way. IMO, sometimes just thinking about never having to think again sounds extremely peaceful. You must not take for granted yours or others time here!
Many people over 90 are still mentally sharp.
To act like those above 75 do not contribute anything to society is a joke. Yes, most eventually becomes a strain on society at some level (which is what this ObamaCare Advisor really means and is just using fear) but this is just targeting those in lower/middle classes that retire. Eh your whole life is only worth 10 years of us paying for your retirement.
I was going to post some examples of many above 75 that have already and will produce more to society than this ObamaCare advisor. After I thought about it more I realized it’s about treasuring the time and memories you have with people over that age. It’s priceless!

That's so individual specific. A good friend of mine is 61. His dad is mid 80s and still deer hunts, cuts the fields on a tractor and is as spry as most folks in their 60s. Our basketball coach at Marshall is pushing 70. Up until he died, last year, his dad would drive himself and come to all the games. He was 103 when he died. On the other side, I know people who are physically and mentally broken down in their early 60s.
Just die when you die.

Amen. The idea that we shouldn't offer care to peeps when they get old b/c it's a strain on the system, is abhorrent to me.
Nobody gets old on purpose, lol.

My wife's grandmother lived to 100, at home the whole time. She taught HS math until 75 and Sunday School until 90. And there are worse things than being bored. My grandfather had a stroke at 75. He couldn't speak. All he could do was grunt. He was confined to bed for a year and a half before he died. We don't know how much of him was left. Was he a vegetable just reacting when he was uncomfortable? Or was he fully there and unable to communicate, which would have been worse?

RE: Biden's coronavirus adviser wants Biden to die
Most Leftists these days have a strange aversion to Life and living. They have some sort of apex species guilt and think the solution for their perceived human race sin is to die off the entire human race. Leftist policies have always reflected their death cult mentality. Abortion, anti-religion, euthanasia, easy divorce laws, high taxes forcing two earner households, collectivized healthcare...........

Democrats want old folks dead. They hate America and want to change it into a shitehole. They admit it freely usually with racist overtones if not blatant racism.
They are like spoiled kids waiting for their parents to die to collect inheritance.
Democrats hate America and everybody eventually

Way back in 1964, the American writer James Burnham published a book called “Suicide of the West: Essays on the Meaning and Destiny of Liberalism”.
How true. And he didn’t know the half of it.

Dammit stink. Sometimes I think the phone must only work one way but I know it's not true because I get calls for money.
the ex and I did our best to train her well.....she has the same issue getting callbacks....
it's tough watching them become their own person when it was 'yesterday' when she wouldn't leave my armpit....
to that, I can only say, "kudos and to our daughter!"
you'll love this one....her parting shot when we ate a few weeks ago was, "Dad, there's no fk'n way I'm having a child amidst all this bs!"...... yeah, her exact words
in return I responded, "yeah, I said XACLY! the same thing at your age....you see what I see.....then that li'l horned fk'r pops up on your shoulder and states, 'everybody's gotta do it once, stink!' "to this day I carry guilt for what you'll inherit, yet thank that horned fk'r for you.".... (tongue-n-cheeky....work with me on this one)
she laughed/cried her arse off....

RE: Biden's coronavirus adviser wants Biden to die
Yeah, Stink I can see her point. It only means that she is a caring person and wouldn't want her child to suffer because in reality we all suffer. There's many different ways one can suffer. Emotionally, physically, spiritually, etc. But...we can't just not have children because we're afraid. People can cope in so many ways and have been doing so since Adam and Eve. Tell her when the time comes that she will find a good man and will want to have children together that children are the most beautiful, meaningful creatures on this planet. My sons are 48 and 43 and even in some hard times I am extremely happy that they are God fearing, responsible adults with children of their own. One just joined the AF and will become a Security Specialist. I was very surprised to hear this because he was the typical Millennial. His older brother is still unsure about anything but is very involved in Chamber of Commerce stuff in his town, (now that was surprising too).
I know what she is going through and it's part of life, uncertainty. Even older adults go through it, I know I do. We're afraid of the future and what it will bring in terms of health, finances, relationships and we "have to keep on trucking". She's lucky as I find that she has a pretty good and loyal dad. Good job Stink...if only she didn't talk like you, LOL.
