Well...not Monty. He's got a year left on his current (k) but thats assuming he wasn’t extended for five years by Frazier for something stupid like beating three cupcake teams in a row.

Did anyone see the side article about Kenny G's extra bonus payment. Totaled more than 400,000 to bring his total compensation to a little over 1mill last year. That doesn't even include contractual bonuses.

What was Turner's highest total contract ever when he played? I have a feeling Kenny will be setting the new high value amount for a NIU alum in the next 2 years.

I think Diems was a little higher than Turners. But I could see Kenny passing both very soon.

Ryan Diem was lucky enough to play his entire career with the Indianapolis Colts, which scored him two AFC championships and one Super Bowl ring.
His hard work as an offensive lineman didn’t go unnoticed. Over a seven-year period, he held a contract worth $36 million after starting his career with a cushy $6-million signing bonus.
Before retiring in 2012, Diem managed to jump start another source of income by founding Modern Muscle in Oswego, Ill., a shop specializing in restoring cars and building performance engines.
Diem reportedly brings in $800,000 annually.

It looks like his NFL career earnings is around 42 million bucks.

That's awesome, I thought of him but figured Turner beat him since he came on just a bit later.

Quote:Bates' salary will increase from $110,000 to $120,000 per year, with an additional $100,000 for multimedia rights and speaking opportunities with a total of $220,000. Former head coach Steve Hawkins' salary was $225,000, with an additional $160,000 for multimedia rights and speaking opportunities for a total of $385,000. Bronco athletics will spend approximately $165,000 less on the head coach position in the coming season.

And Monty is being paid more than Hawkins was for having even less success? Not sure if or how “multimedia & speaking” is part of Montys compensation.

Not in the MAC, but at in-state WIU. Billy Wright out...MBB...
https://goleathernecks.com/news/2020/3/3...inois.aspx

Wright was 53-115 in six years at Western, including 5-21 last season.
