The bishop of the North Georgia conference is encouraging Methodist churches not to have services or other large gatherings.

Don't know what is happening with other congregations. One thing for a bishop to call for it. Governors have no business doing so. Don't know if there is any political differences in this. FWIW the Bishop is pretty far left.

Sounds like a good idea, whatever the reason.
