College basketball transfer and draft
With the cancellation of the post season we are basically starting the transfer and draft time period a month early. How do you guys think both the transfer and draft market will be without the tournament to give players a stage to play nationally for mud level to lower level players. Do you guys think we may have less players applying for the draft and maybe head somewhere else via transferring? Would you think potential 1 and done players staying another year to try and use the NCAA tournament to being drafted higher next year?

As with so many things coronavirus-related, it's really hard to guess at an impact with what little we know so far. A lot of it is going to hinge on what the NBA does. If there is uncertainty about how they're going to handle the draft and next season, it might compel some big names to stick around another season.

Same thing with transfers and the coaching carousel: The more uncertainty there is about how next season might unfold, the more likely people stay where they are.

RE: College basketball transfer and draft
The NBA draft will certainly go on. That is small numbers. They can stretch it a couple days to keep the numbers even lower. There will be more hygiene protocols in place for the workouts.

The NBA needs the draft to replenish, even if the season starts in October with camps (forget summer league) which should provide plenty of time.

It may be a hard year for those not in the combine to be seen, as the ancillary camps probably can't meet the protocol necessary. This may be a draft where the borderline players put off entry in large numbers. It means 2021 draft will be flooded with players (assuming the NCAA resumes by Basketball season).

But who knows? Above is just my WAG
