Same thing with locks of any kind but mostly locker combinations. I can't remember the combination either. I'm always dreaming of me at work at the fire station but I can't find my turnout gear to save my life.

But, I've analyzed why I can't find my car, combination, turnout gear, etc. It's because that's a part of my life that I have left behind and the cars aren't mine anymore. They're lost for eternity.

My poor wife who suffers from MSA has a nightmare every night. She'll be tossing and turning and sometimes she'll scream out loud which scares the heck out of me. I read up on her sickness and that's a part of it her symptoms. Last night she dug her fingernails into my hand when I tried to wake her up. LOL

You know how it is said that when we die we either go to heaven or hell? I think that in death your soul lives in a spirit world where you will NEVER die as in dreams. That's why when God gives you the Tree of Life you will have a beautiful eternal life in heaven if not you'll live an eternal life of fire and never die because your soul will never die but will be able to feel the heat and burning. It is what it is. That's my opinion anyway.

Well unlike Joe Biden, at least you remember you had a locker and a car!04-cheers

RE: Dreams
In the serial dream that was in my birthday month, I first dreamed it shortly out of college. I climbed/walked up this mountain filled with people and places from different times and parts of my life. When I got to the top, I saw a large low flat area below the mountain and another mountain in the distance. I wanted to climb that other mountain but didn't have the time at that point. The area resembled the view from the top of Enchanted Rock near Fredricksburg, Texas. The last time I had that serial dream there was only one mountain and it was real easy getting to the top. After I woke up, I realized it must have been the 2nd mountain and that the dream was about achieving goals.

RE: Dreams
Interesting topic. Dreams have always fascinated me in that there's really no scientific explanation for them. I mean it's not like your brain is just replaying events of the day, which would seem logical.

But it's creating its own stories and plotlines. What inside your consciousness is creating the back n forth dialogue, the scenery, etc.? How can you be a screenwriter in your sleep?

The bit about how you meet people you don't recall meeting, or visit places you don't recall visiting, adds to the intrigue.

I've rarely had lucid dreams, but those are wild and fun. Evidently those are more often experienced near the height of REM sleep, and very close to the sleep/awake border.

This morning I read an article about Mark Taylor. A troubled Florida fireman that had a DREAM that Trump would be President. Mr. Taylor had the dream in 2011.

After watching a film about Mark Taylor’s dream, I immediately picked up my IPad and what do I see but a thread about Dreams..

As I write this the credits from the film roll, a song about this verse plays.

2 Chronicles 7:14 New International Version (NIV)

14 if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

I've seen several Christian prophets who were saying Trump was going to become president some 10 years ago.

Kim Clement was another who said he would become POTUS, that it would be the most stunning election upset in our lifetimes, and they would try to impeach him but fail. He gave a lot of other details too like Him naming 2 now SCOTUS appointment in the first term and other things that have come to pass. Kim Clement passed shortly before the 2016 election.

I enjoy Kim Clement. The video I watched first was Trey Smith. He references Clement in his videos.

The part of the prophecy that struck me. The comment about being a religious man versus being a praying man. That’s important. It should be important to everyone.

I was reminded of this verse.

You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe that—and shudder. - James 2:19

I have always heard how religious a President is at the time he is in office. They only two I can remember mentioning pray in my lifetime were Carter and Reagan. W may have around 9/11 but I don’t remember specifically.

The thought of being religious and not a praying man hit me.
God Bless You Brother

God moves us to do things that we may not know the reasoning behind for days, even years, or if ever. We just have to trust and have the faith to do it.

The bolded quote is the one used for today's national day of prayer. 04-jawdrop

A few years ago, 1997, I had the honor and privilege of traveling to DC to Stand in the Gap with 700K of my Christian Brothers. To pray for healing in our Nation...

This verse, and Ezekiel 22:30, among others were read aloud that day...
It was an amazing experience to be in the presence of so many Christian Brothers praying and humbling themselves before the Lord.

My recurring dream is from college, specifically failing out. It’s been almost 20 years since I graduated and twice a year I will have this dream.

I had this recurring dream that I forgot about an entire class. Like didn't have it on my personal schedule at all and never went even though I went to all my others. Weird.

I have a similar recurring dream. But I just forget it, not that I don't know about it.

I have that one myself. It's always finals week and I suddenly realize I have a class that I have forgotten to go to for the whole semester. My wife has it too.

The only truly weird dream experience I’ve ever had involves one of my coaches from when I was a kid. I don’t remember the substance of our conversation in the dream, but this was a guy that I hadn’t thought about in years. A day or 2 after the dream I found out that he passed away.

Was college that traumatic? I have the same one also. The one that recurs the most is that I am still playing baseball and I blow a play or forget my cleats, hat glove etc. back at school while on a road trip. Weird. Been nearly 30 years since the ole playing days.

College was not traumatic and I didn't skip classes. Maybe it has something to do with having too much to do and not getting around to it all.

RE: Dreams
The closest I ever came was a class where I missed the next-to-last class, at which the prof announced that he had been called out of town on short notice, and would therefore be giving the final in the last session. I always made a point to attend the final class session, even if I missed some others, because profs often gave out previews or study guides for the final. So I walked in expecting to find out what was on the final, and quickly finding out exactly what was on the final. Made a B+. I always figured cramming was overrated after that.
