Since there is not going to be sports to talk about for awhile.

I haven’t seen much about our new AD. Anything out there on what his agenda is or actions he has already taken to improve our athletic department? Or just the different athletic teams in general?

Not sure he had much to do with it, but it was announced that Hylton Dayes, longtime men's soccer coach, parted ways with the university. He amassed 140 wins over 19 seasons. Many on here were calling for the university to move on. This is an excellent opportunity for Cunningham to bring a lagging program up to speed with the other surging programs at our fine university.

RE: John Cunningham
It sounded as if he may have been encouraged to move on.

I loved Coach Dayes for the opportunity and experience he gave me during my college career including a Big East championship...but I agree that it was likely time to part ways for both. I hope that he finds another opportunity, as he still has much to offer the sport, but it was time for a change after the two decades he was here.

Given he had to deal with the Michigan State Saga, and now a university shut down...It seems like a very tough first couple months on the job.

Thanks Chad! I'll be tuning in.

Edit: Not available at 5:30, but hope to listen when I get a chance.
