Welcome to the wonderful world of Covid-19 Coronavirus shutdowns.

Somehow, we ended up with a 6 month offseason in which we have absolutely nothing to talk about. The hope is that this can die down in a couple months and at least the pro sports can start back up to occupy boredom.

During the next 6-8 weeks many of you will likely be stuck at home for lengthy periods of time As a mod staff we understand that, and as a result of the so called cabin fever, we will be relaxing a bunch of our normal rules for discussion. Simply put, we're not as likely to ban during this period, and will be far more likely to let things go, but we will not let everything go.

Some rules:

1. Doxing is still not allowed Its an instant perma ban..

2. Please try to keep the threads civil. Understand that certain topics are going to be no go's right now with many, and be accepting of that. As always discussions of politics are going to be watched carefully

3. Please remember that while many of you do not likely know someone who has been taken ill by the coronavirus, by the end of this period you are likely to know someone who is ill, or who has been quarrentined for it. While we certainly hope no one here gets ill, understand that is a possibility. Try to avoid criticizing everyone who shuts an event down that you wanted to see. For all you know someone else on here is slowly watching their 85 year old grandma succumb to the disease.

4. Remember that schools are going to be out for at least the month of March. There is a strong possibility that someone reading this thread might have their 8 year old looking over their shoulder. Please try to keep things clean.

Most of us are grads of SBC schools which after hearing this mornings news, makes me rather proud. It was reported that Harvard, that wonderful center of higher learning in the northeast, has recommended that the president not open up our economy until 2022. If that doesn't make you feel proud not to be a grad of that thinking, nothing will.
