I doubt it ... NCAA/CBS and others act like it never happened. Also, none of the games other than Pitt were actually close, so in hindsight, no drama. However, the Oklahoma State game was actually a closer game than the final score ... while the Alabama game was a complete blowout, also not indicative of the final score.
The Pitt game had one of the worst calls (Gate block)??? in NCAA Tournament history ... and in my mind showed how focused that team was as nobody other than Stan - for a moment - let that call impact how they played out the game and OT.
I used to have VHS tapes of all those games, but have no idea if I still have them or if the wife shipped them to the goodwill/trash in one of her many instances of "helping me with my stuff???"
And just so you don't think it's just a KSU thing ... do you ever see NCAA feature any of Miami's NCAA Tournament upsets ... or Eastern Michigan's upsets ... or Ball State's upsets ... almost all of those games are quite thrilling ..... It's a MAC Thing
But KSU might be the most offensive ... team defeats Three AP Top 10 teams, three power conference regular season champions with three conference POY all on a neutral court and basically w/ease.
Just watched the KSU/Pitt game on youtube and if AMitchell is not in the midst of a horrendous shooting slump that game never gets anywhere near OT and Kent wins by double digits.
But only MAC fans know any of this ...
